One Saturday morning, my son Ian woke me up and asked me to prepare him breakfast. I had a late night with friends at The Loft so I was a bit lazy to wake up that early but my eyes are wide awake when I read my reminder...It's my Uncle Meady's wedding!!! Luckily I set a reminder in my hand phone otherwise I would have forgotten about it. The venue was at J Borneo Native in Lok Kawi opposite the Wildlife Center. I never been there before and as I step my foot to the entrance, I was captivated by the local traditional elements specially the wooden carvings. The whole environment was so warm and I feel like home...it's like bringing in Tenghilan (my hometown) out to Lok Kawi.

I had so much fun catching up with my cousins, aunties and uncles...family moments are just priceless. I'm glad I managed to go for the wedding with my camera as well and capture the moments that I would love to share with all.

My uncle is the 1st couple having their wedding reception there, it's a nice place for traditional weddings. The hall can accommodate up to 200 pax for caterings i.e weddings, anniversary party or family gatherings / birthday celebrations. Buffet priced from RM18nett per person onwards, depends on the meals arrangement. In the pipeline, they are in the midst of building few more facilities such as chalet, swimming pool, conference & theatre room, spa and also driving rage.
